Tyler Joe Miller Brings New Country Heat to Musicfest

Wed July 15 @ 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Del Crary Park

Tyler Joe Miller did not exactly sneak into Canadian country music. The Surrey, B.C. singer came out swinging in 2019 with “Pillow Talkin’,” a Gold-certified debut single that went straight to #1 at Canadian country radio. Then he did it again with “I Would Be Over Me Too,” becoming the first independent Canadian country artist to land back-to-back #1 singles. That is not a bad way to introduce yourself.

Since then, Miller has stacked up nine Top 10 hits, a SiriusXM Top of the Country win, and multiple JUNO and CCMA nominations, building a reputation as one of Canadian country’s sharper new voices — the kind who can sell the heartbreak without sounding like he bought it wholesale in Nashville.

His latest EP, Going Home, nominated for 2025 CCMA Album of the Year, leans into love, loss, resilience and the long road back to yourself. It is country music with the boots on, but the heart still showing.

Tyler Joe Miller plays Peterborough Musicfest on Wednesday, July 15 at 8 p.m., bringing the hits, the stories and a rising-star résumé that is starting to look less like a hot streak and more like a career.
