Four distinctive voices take the stage for an evening of spoken word, storytelling and poetry that hits where it’s supposed to. Sarah Lewis, Khevryl McPherson, Kristal Jones and Sam Banton bring their own perspectives, rhythms and lived experiences to the mic, turning language into something immediate, personal and alive.

Expect work that can provoke, move, challenge and occasionally catch you off guard — the kind of night where a few carefully chosen words can land harder than a full band at maximum volume. At its best, spoken word strips away the distance between performer and audience, and this showcase puts that connection front and centre.
