The Maple Blues Revue

Saturday, March 28 • 8:00 PM
Market Hall

The Maple Blues Revue is what happens when a murderers’ row of Canadian blues talent decides to stop being polite and simply level the room.

Built around the formidable Maple Blues Band, this world-class revue pulls from the group’s two studio recordings, threading together a rich run of instrumental firepower with knockout vocal turns from featured guests Jay Douglas, Samantha Martin, and Suzie Vinnick. In other words: elite players, serious voices, no weak links.

This is a band stacked with some of the most respected musicians in Canadian blues — the kind of lineup loaded with Maple Blues Award and Juno Award winners and nominees, where pedigree actually means something because the goods are right there onstage. They don’t lean on reputation. They cash it in.

Their debut release, Let’s Go, on Cordova Bay Records, opened a new chapter for the band, taking their music into concert halls and festival stages across Canada and beyond. But the real pitch is simpler than that: this is blues played at the highest level, by musicians who know exactly how to bring muscle, soul, precision, and just enough swagger to keep it dangerous.

The Maple Blues Revue doesn’t just celebrate the blues — it shows you what the form looks like when it’s in very good hands.
