Market Hall
Rapid’s End Improv presents the infamous Rico & Rostrup, the electrifying, laugh-out-loud improvised musical duo turning audience suggestions into complete comedic gold. Peterborough performers Mark Rostrup and Marc Rico Ludwig create wild new worlds, bizarre characters, and surprisingly heartfelt stories completely on the spot — no script, just fast-thinking comedy and glorious fantasy.
This edition cranks things up even further as the team attempts to fill market hall with spectators and then fill it again with song: an improvised musical where the audience controls when the music happens. Here’s the catch: songs are triggered when audience members throw dinner rolls onstage. Yes, actual buns. The ancient tradition nobody asked for, yet somehow humanity needs. Paired with musical wizard and accompanist Andrew Fitzpatrick, the duo spins audience suggestions into full-blown musical numbers in real time.
Come experience a night of musical majesty, audience-fueled storytelling and carb-based chaos with Rico & Rostrup. Who doesn’t love dinner and a show?
