Jeanne Truax performs
September 4, 10 PM
Jethro’s Bar + Stage
Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 4—Jeanne Truax is storming the stage at Jethro’s Bar + Stage, starting at 10:00 PM. Fresh off her Emerging Artist win at the Peterborough Folk Festival, Jeanne hits the spotlight again, this time with her full band and the loose energy of a late-night jam to kick you into the weekend.
Expect her signature blend of polished rockabilly swagger with a raw, rootsy backbone—a sound inspired by the Beatles and Wanda Jackson but filtered through her own indie-pop storytelling lens. You’ll feel it in her tight riffs, in the grit of her voice, and in the honest, heartfelt stories she weaves mid-set.
If you’ve seen her before at The Black Horse or the Folk Festival, you know she doesn’t do quiet. If not—you’re in for a revelation. This is where familiar tunes get new edges, and local music feels like it could catch fire at any moment.
Jeanne Truax & Friends, September 4, 10 PM, Jethro’s Bar + Stage—bring your dancing shoes, an appetite for soulful talent, and a good ear for greatness-in-the-making.
