Del Crary Park, Musicfest
Canadian guitar great David Wilcox returns to the Peterborough Musicfest stage Saturday, August 8, bringing his unmistakable blend of rock, blues, country, ragtime and roots music back to Del Crary Park.
Known for his masterful guitar work, soulful voice and magnetic live presence, Wilcox has spent decades carving out a sound that feels distinctly Canadian. His career includes multiple gold and platinum albums, generations of devoted fans and songs that have found their way into everything from Olympic skating programs to television and film.
His music has appeared in the Tom Cruise film Cocktail and the television series Street Legal, while his live career has taken him from backyard barbecues to Carnegie Hall and the Montreux Jazz Festival, where he performed alongside Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones.
Wilcox first appeared on the Fred Anderson Stage in 1999 and returned in 2024. Now he is back once again, proving that some performers never lose their ability to light up a stage.
