Noted Canadian performer and producer Aaron Goldstein — whose résumé runs through names like Kathleen Edwards, Junkhouse, Cowboy Junkies, City and Colour, and Daniel Romano — returns as musical director for this celebration of Neil Young’s 80th birthday, echoing the acclaimed sold-out concert staged at Massey Hall on Young’s birthday last fall. Goldstein will lead a band made up of some of the country’s most in-demand players, with the set also featuring guest appearances from regional singers and recording artists, turning the evening into both a tribute to one of Canada’s most towering songwriters and a showcase for the talent still carrying that spirit forward.
