(June 15-21, 2026) The long-running Crash & Burn Jam with Rick & Gailie kicks things off Monday night, June 15, from 7 to 10 p.m., with Rick & Gailie, JP Hovercraft, Brian Landry and Clifford Maynes hosting what has become one of Peterborough’s true weekly institutions — 20 years and counting of players stepping up, plugging in and seeing what happens.
Tuesday brings Open Mic with Johann Burkhardt, starting at 6 p.m., giving songwriters, strummers, singers and brave first-timers their moment under the lights.
On Wednesday, June 17, the guitars take a back seat to game cards with Wednesday Music Bingo from 7 to 9 p.m. Same idea as regular bingo, except instead of waiting for numbers, you’re listening for songs you know — rock ’n’ roll, honky-tonk, pop and whatever else gets thrown into the mix.
Thursday night, June 18, belongs to Jazz & Blues Night, with Carling Stephen and Rob Phillips fronting the band from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Expect sharp playing, good grooves and the kind of room that remembers live music is supposed to breathe a little.
Friday, June 19, The Crooked Archers featuring Bridget Foley take over from 8 to 11 p.m. with a set that pulls from blues, R&B, pop and a few corners in between.
Saturday comes in two waves. Doug Horner plays the early slot from 5 to 8 p.m., followed by High Waters Band at 9 p.m. The Peterborough classic rock outfit promises the sort of set built to get people up and moving — part aged whiskey, part fresh groove, and poured strong.
The week wraps Sunday, June 21, with Camilo Restrepo from 4 to 7 p.m., bringing his blues-and-folk style, soulful voice and guitar-driven performance back to The Black Horse stage.
Another week. Another full slate. Another reminder that in Peterborough, the local music scene still knows where the doors are open.
