The 2026 New Music Awards, presented by Sparq and produced by Brent Rombough and Pet Rock Radio, shines a spotlight on the best in independent music from Peterborough and the surrounding area. The evening will hand out honours in 17 categories while showcasing live performances from local artists and appearances by familiar local personalities, turning the whole thing into part awards show, part hometown celebration, and part reminder that this region’s music scene still has plenty of pulse.
