The Lightfoot Band: The Songs, The Stories, The Legacy

Wednesday, October 22 • 7:30 PM
The Historic Market Hall

They were the heartbeat behind Canada’s most legendary troubadour. Now, The Lightfoot Band is stepping into the spotlight to carry on the legacy they helped create—live, authentic, and straight from the source.

These aren’t session players or tribute imitators. This is the band—Rick Haynes on bass, Barry Keane on drums, Mike Heffernan on keys, and Carter Lancaster on guitar—the same crew that toured the world with Gordon Lightfoot, and helped shape timeless hits like Sundown, Carefree Highway, Beautiful, and The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald from the studio to the stage.

Joined by vocalist Andy Mauck—armed with the same six- and twelve-string guitars Gord once played—The Lightfoot Band delivers a powerful, note-for-note celebration of Lightfoot’s music. With deep cuts, fan favourites, and behind-the-scenes stories from decades on the road, this show isn’t just a concert—it’s a living history lesson from the men who were there.

Come hear the soundtrack of a nation, played by the artists who lived it. The songs remain. The stories are waiting.

Ticket Prices: $65.00
