The Detention Club

Friday, March 6 • 8:00 PM
Market Hall Performing Arts Centre

Led by powerhouse vocalist and small-town truth-teller Caitlin O’Connor, The Detention Club comes on like a full-band rush — big sound, sharp musicianship, and enough heart to leave a mark long after the last chord fades.

Opening the night is Blue Hazel — Caitlin, Rico Browne, and Meisha Browne — whose rich harmonies and easy chemistry set the table beautifully before the main event kicks the doors open.

Then it’s time for The Detention Club to take over, delivering the kind of high-energy set that keeps a room leaning forward: beloved covers, fresh original songs, and the kind of homegrown fire that could only come out of Peterborough, Ontario.

A Detention Club show rarely sticks to the script. Surprise guests, unexpected turns, and musical curveballs are part of the deal. Or, to borrow the line: life is like a box of music — you never know what you’re gonna get.

Fair warning: audiences have been known to leave with a permanent attachment to this band.

Warm, rowdy, and proudly local, Detention is in session at Market Hall.
