Ken Tizzard & Music For Goats Release Final Single from The Dagg Sessions

Ken Tizzard’s current project, Music For Goats, has been carving out a sound since 2016 that blends country grit, rock drive, and folk storytelling. With Tizzard on bass and vocals, joined by Ken Grain (bass) and Neil Lucy (guitar), the band has built a reputation for songs that feel both rugged and deeply personal.

But the story of their latest release is bittersweet. In 2023, Music For Goats lost their drummer Steve Dagg, a respected figure in the Canadian music community whose playing left a mark on countless stages and sessions. To honour him, the band released The Dagg Sessions in April 2024—an album built around the drum tracks Steve recorded before his passing.

Now, they’ve released the final single from that collection: “Other Side Of Wrong.”

‘Other Side Of Wrong’ was inspired after a night of catching up with an old friend,” explains Tizzard. “It always amazes me how many great stories we all live through, and the process of creation is heavily linked to listening to the people around you.

As the last single from The Dagg Sessions, the track carries the weight of remembrance while pointing toward what comes next. Music For Goats are already back in the studio, shaping their next record, but with “Other Side Of Wrong,” they’ve given listeners one more chance to hear Steve Dagg’s artistry, woven into a song about memory, connection, and the stories we carry with us.
