Gob

Saturday, July 19. Fred Anderson Stage, Crary Park
Canadian Punk Rock Icons Gob to Rock the Fred Anderson Stage at Peterborough Musicfest

Peterborough Musicfest just raised the bar.
Gob — icons of Canadian punk — are hitting the Fred Anderson Stage at Del Crary Park for the first time ever on Saturday, July 19 at 8 PM. And yeah, it’s totally free.

You might know them from late-night drives, basement shows, or the NHL 2004 soundtrack that burned itself into your muscle memory. Since forming in ’93, Gob’s carved out a legacy with records like Too Late… No Friends, How Far Shallow Takes You, and the gold-certified The World According to Gob. Tracks like “I Hear You Calling” and “No Regrets” didn’t just chart — they stuck.

With a lineup that’s included Tom Thacker (also of Sum 41), Theo Goutzinakis, Gabe Mantle, and Steven Fairweather, Gob continues to evolve without losing their edge.

Catch them live. No ticket. No gate. Just one of Canada’s most influential punk bands, on the lake, under the stars.
