Peterborough Musicfest
David Wilcox: the ultimate entertainer, master guitarist, and owner of a signature soulful voice that’s serenaded the Canadian musical landscape for decades. This summer, he’ll be gracing the Musicfest stage with his eclectic blend of rock, blues, country, ragtime, and roots styles, delivering his unique brand of Canadiana.
With a career spanning gold and platinum albums and legions of fans across generations, Wilcox’s music has been everywhere—from Olympic champions Salé and Pelletier’s routines to movies like Cocktail with Tom Cruise. Whether it’s a backyard barbeque, a TV theme like Street Legal, Carnegie Hall, or the Montreux Jazz Festival with John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin, his sound is as Canadian as maple syrup. If you haven’t seen him live, you’re missing out. But worry not—he’s performing at Del Crary Park on August 17th to close out the 2024 concert series.
David Wilcox last rocked the Fred Anderson Stage at Peterborough Musicfest in 1999, making this the longest absence from the Musicfest stage for any artist. Don’t miss his grand return!
Going to be epic!
