CANCER TAKEDOWN 2025

Wednesday, November 5 • 7:00 PM
The Historic Market Hall

Cancer Takedown is an uplifting evening of song, story and solidarity; with all proceeds going to Cancer Care at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

Featuring incredible musicians Melissa Payne, Kate Suhr, The Weber Brothers, Nicholas Campbell, Anthony Bastianon and more. Co-hosted by comedic powerhouses Megan Murphy and Denise Oucharek. The show also features three women (all diagnosed under the age of 40) sharing their stories; focusing on the emotional and mental rollercoaster that the cancer experience brings.

Cancer Takedown is a fundraiser, but more importantly it is a spirit-raiser for anyone touched by cancer. Our ambition is to bring attention to the emotional and mental burden of cancer, uniting people through shared experience.

For people who have been through cancer, to those in the middle of their fight. For the families, friends and caregivers who rally around them. This is camaraderie. This is community. This is Cancer Takedown.
